Mustang Music

Jennifer Lucius
A Message From Mrs. Lucius
Hi! I’m Jen Lucius and I’m one of the full-time music teachers here at Franconia Elementary. I started teaching in 2002, taking some time off to raise my three children. Now I’m back in the swing of teaching again and love this school so much that I brought my kids with me. They are proud Mustangs in the 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades!
About Me
I have been performing on stage since I was 5 years old as a dancer and as a music theater performer. I was fortunate enough to sing on a recording that was featured in the opening of the Macy’s Day Parade back in 1998. After graduating from Shenandoah Conservatory in 1999 with a major in Music Education and an endorsement in Musical Theater, I fulfilled my dream and performed on stage for several years at Walt Disney World where I was a dancer, actor, and puppeteer. The next chapter of my life led me to live out another life-long dream: to be a music teacher! I was lucky enough to be a full-time music teacher at Kings Park Elementary where I taught music K-3 students for 6 years. After the birth of my first baby, I took a break from teaching to accomplish my next dream job: being a full time stay-at-home-mom. 10 years later, I joined the Franconia team and I have fallen in love with this community and its children!
