The all volunteer-run Parent Teacher Association (PTA) at Franconia Elementary is an active part of the school community. The organization has a vital role in supporting the school in many ways, including purchasing technology, funding school buses for field trips, and supplementing classroom resources.

Students have unlimited access to online tutoring support services through Tutor.com at no cost to families. Students can connect online any time, any place, and in most K-12 subjects for however long they need. Tutoring may be on-demand or scheduled at a time convenient for the student and/or family.
Teachers will use a variety of digital resources to help students learn during the 2023-24 school year. These digital resources have been checked and approved by Fairfax County Public Schools.
